Human Resources Management Committee.

The Human Resources Management Committee is constituted as a committee of the Council on Higher Education in accordance with Section 26 of the Council Governance Policy and Charter.

What this committee is here to do.

  • Review and make recommendations on terms and conditions of employment for senior management and other CHES staff.
  • Conduct interviews and make recommendations on recruitment and appointment of senior management.
  • Review and make recommendations on CHE remuneration policy, allowances and remuneration for Council and committee members.
  • Conduct disciplinary hearings for individual members of senior management and make recommendations to EXCO or Council.
  • Review and make recommendations for staff training and development.
  • Provide guidance on administrative issues of CHE.
