What this committee is here to do.

  • Review and monitor the appropriateness and relevance of CHE’s information technology resource-allocation policy.
  • Approve major changes in information technology strategies, priorities and structures.
  • Oversee major information technology projects costing more than M100,000 or considered significant to the organisation.
  • Approve information technology standards and procedures.
  • Review information management and data governance frameworks and systems.
  • Oversee key performance indicators and service levels for information technology services.
  • Ensure value for money in the provision of information technology services.
  • Ensure appropriate business continuity arrangements for information technology.
  • Ensure information technology risks are identified, assessed and managed in liaison with AFRMC.
  • Work and liaise with other committees and the Board, as applicable.
